Raising the Bar
When Aclara relocated its corporate headquarters, they partnered with Lawrence Group’s interior and graphic (me) designers to create an office environment that enhanced their new space and reflected Aclara’s fresh re-brand.
Utilizing muted tones and dramatic lighting, I designed a feature wall in Aclara’s new headquarters that showcases a brand that is modern and forward thinking. I side lit Aclara’s logo with a dimmable, soft blue light that gives the logo depth and serves as mood lighting during evening events which are held in the space.
The elevator wall features a custom designed graphic. The geometric graphic visualizes the business solutions Aclara provides its clients (communication, connectivity, technology and nodes communicating with each other to create “smart grids”) and also references the circular mark in Aclara’s logo. Privacy film for the main conference rooms was another feature Aclara requested. The circular forms from Aclara’s new logo were used again to create a custom pattern in the film.
By leveraging Aclara’s story and digging into their brand, the Lawrence Group team & I created a space that is fresh, modern and collaborative that will compliment and support the company’s mission and continued growth.
